The heart is a timeless and worldwide symbol of love whilst the Koru is a traditional Maori symbol representing love, new life, family, purity and peace so when you combine these two together it tells a very powerful story.
Koru (Spiral) bone carvings represent peace, tranquility, regrowth and new beginnings. They are also commonly associated with nurturing and when connected with other Koru pendants it is used to represent the strength, purity and bonds in a loving relationship whether between friends, partners, spouses or parent/child relationships it shows the beginning and growth that happens in that relationship.
